Idaho?

Due to throat problems, we are taking a few unscheduled days of the tour to let Nature heal the boss's voice. Which means we'll be spending three days or so off in Boise, Idaho. Having never been there - as far as I can remember - I'm looking forward to doing some fishing/hiking and just hanging out.

Let's hope The Voice heals soon and we get back to work on time.

Staples Center, Los Angeles

First gig of the West Coast run is over and all is well. Kevin Walt, Artist Relations guru for M-Audio (who's praises I have sung on this page before) paid us a visit with his lovely wife Lori.

He brought out the new BX5A studio monitors and we gave them a good listen. I now have a pair to use out here for mixing and editing. Thanks a million, Kevin!!!

West Coast Run

Wow. It's been more than a month since my last post. That's pretty damn busy, I guess. Lots of travel, lots of gigs. We're in Los Angeles today for a show at the Staples Center, then off to San Diego, Phoenix, Boise, Portland Worley, Las Vegas, San Francisco and Jacksonville, Oregon. All in the next 15 days including a couple of 1000 mile bus rides.

Fortunately, I have plenty of reading material and computer programs to learn. I've added GarageBand to my short list of coolest apps ever. The latest version is pretty much all you need to record music, and is more than able to be used for demoing or getting masters started. Look to this space for future music and podcasts created in GarageBand.
